The car is finished in a special gold paint and features a gold plate embossed with Bolt’s signature and his autograph. Nissan said the highest bidder’s GT-R “Bolt Gold” will be built to conform to the regulations of his or her country of residence with a delivery date in March of 2013.
Aside from the “Bolt Gold” GT-R, the Jamaican sprinter has signed a number of Nissan-related products, including racing helmets and clothes, which will also be auctioned off on eBay.
All proceeds from the eBay auctions will go directly to the Usain Bolt Foundation, which was established by the Olympic champion to support educational and cultural opportunities for children and young people in his home country of Jamaica.
